We use to wonder such things also, but now we know, so we thought we would share this with you.

Bees communicate with each other through dance.

A Bee's dance will tell the other Bees where all the pollen rich flowers are, including direction and distance.

Teamwork is what it takes to make honey.

Thank the Bees, enjoy the flowers, it is where the Mead making process begins.

When we make the statement: "Bees play an important role in Mead making, without them there would be no Mead." We realize just how selfish that sounds, because without bees, a lack of mead would probably be the least of our worries.

Bees play a vital role in our ecosystem, they operate locally, yet have a major global impact in terms of food production, and this is not about honey, it is about all of those other food crops that rely on bees for pollination. Bees and flowers have a symbiotic relationship where each relies on the other for their ongoing survival.

Just as our environment relies on the bees, the bees rely on the environment. A healthy environment makes for healthy bees.
